Fobra - I didn't have to supercharge my V6 to hang with stock GT cars. I was beating them in N/A trim. My supercharged V6 is faster than a lot of the street modded Terminators out there, no need to waste time with fake snakes and GT owners. But I don't need to beat "faster cars" to feel good about mine. I built it for me.

Your funny.

The hood is painted silver, in great shape, does need a color sand, but thats no biggie. Would prefer a swap for a silver one, but will consider many options. Need to trade due to changed plan on this car. RTP/Greensboro/Charlotte

This coming from a Cobra wannabee.

Why do I even bother trying to offer V6 tech when posters ask. All it ever turns into is this crap from people who don't have a clue.

Im doing the cobra body because, 1) cheap, 2) looks good, 3) best kit for a lower vehicle due to the angle on the front bumper. The body is the only thing I am trying to emulate by doing a Fobra... a real cobra is a slow POS. My fobra will be a kin to a v-6 bodied car as a sleeper in with the people I run with. You always do the "fobra" thing like its a knock... I dont want a "real cobra" or I would have one right now, this car is costing me way more than a cobra... If you gave me a cobra id sell it, because the 4.6 platform sucks balls. (for my purposes anyway, so trolls dont worry Im not a "hater" i own a GT vert also)

Lil Roush quit whining. I agree with you that some 6 cylinder cars can outrun v8's. But why the hell would you waste your time and money on a v6 cause you wanted to be unique? So you're saying your v6 is pushing over 500 rwhp? If I'm not mistaken a cobra has over 400 rwhp from the factory. Lets see a dyno sheet. Stop being a grammer nazi just because they don't agree with you.

As to the OP I wouldn't waste my time with a swap. I'm sure the stang still has low miles on it. Why not buy a classic or a fox body and put a big block in it? Thats what I would do if I wanted to have a little project.

Yes, that is correct... 13's and 12's aren't fast. And having to push 22lbs of boost to make 600 rwhp sucks.
