I have no clue why I keep clicking this thread. It's almost like I'm expecting someone to show a viable arguement for swapping a V8 into a V6 for a cost effective jump in power or some great end all answer based on tech proving the V6 sucks.
And then when I read it, the best answer as to why the V6 sucks is because college girls drive them or that they don't have an aftermarket - neither speaking to the abilities of the motor size of topic.

Legion5 and Fobra provided you with hard evidence that shows the V6 is inferior to the V8 in Mustangs. Stats, numbers, horsepower ratings, etc. Simply because you refuse to listen doesn't change anything.

Fancy words and put downs aren't tech nor facts. Stock hp ratings show nothing of what a motor can do, only what it does from the factory. I have yet to see what I hope to get.
But I agree, I'll let this thread die.

Well then do any of you know how large the engine compartment is? I want to know roughly what dimensions I'm dealing with if I do swap so I don't buy a motor too big for my car and have to mod the front end for it to fit.
