Question Gear Grind?

Last night i stepped into a stock 07 GT and found that the clutch was lighter and the gear shifts were significantly smoother than my 07 GT that i bought earlier this year. Each time I shift into gears the feeling of shifting feels rough(not soft). I'm starting to feel like i got bought a lemon. Can anyone shed some light to what may be going on?

Do you have an aftermarket shifter. They have shorter throws which equals more leverage to engage synchros.

Do they both still have their original transmission fluid?

Maybe your clutch is not fully disengaging.
