Hi, I've got a 84 lincoln mark 7 Diesel. I can't stand the body style but the engine and transmission are excellent. I'd like to get a mustang with no engine/tranny and install that 6 cylinder turbo. Any ideas? the lincoln is a foxbody car, and if I chose a simular year foxbody I wouldn't run into any real hardships right?
I have a carlift, welding equipment, and a bunch of tools..... now what?
Thanks
Harlan Stanley

yeah BMW made that engine, and it's a very good diesel. it moves that big arse lincoln down the road very nicely. I can only imagine what it would do to a lightweight LX coupe! Anyone in Austin want to help try this out?
I guess what I am asking is that is the engine bay of the foxbody mustang going to be the same size and have simular or identical engine mount points to the foxbody lincoln? is the wheelbase the same? so I could just swap out all the drivetrain.
Here's a little about that beast... there was only about 1800 made... but
