Default Galvanic reaction on/under hood ?

hello all, my apologies if this has been covered before (I tried a forum search, couldn't find anything) --

I have a 2006 Mustang conv. in Legend Lime, build date of 4/06. I'm getting galvanic corrosion in the area of the hood latch, and along the seams (where the two pieces of the hood are pressed together).

anyone else experience this ? is it particular to this color ? anyway to mitigate it ?

thanks in advance...

There is a TSB about it. It deals with a specific range of build dates and from what I've heard, Ferrous (iron) contamination of the aluminum hood before painting which causes bubbling after some time in the affected area. There is a thread on it somehwere on the forum but I didnt' pay much attention since mine was/is not affected.
