2006 Automatic Transmission V6 (32K miles) will shift into gear but will not physically move! I've been having this issue on and off for a month now and the dealership can't figure out the issue. At one point i was able get the car in gear by turning the car off and back on, then once that no longer worked i was able to get it in gear by putting it in D or R and holding down the gas and break until in popped into gear...NOW nothing works. Does anyone know what's going on? I just had the automatic transmission fulid replaced.

More than likely it's broke but the dealership should have caught that. The problem with having your transmission serviced when you are having problems with it is that automatic transmission fluid is very high detergent so when you put new stuff in a worn transmission it basically cleans out all the worn friction material that is allowing the transmission to continue working in a badly worn state. Take it to a reputable transmission shop that will due a free diagnosis and see what they say.
it personally sounds like your having a shift cylanoid problem. talk to your dealership and ask them if that may be the problem. if it will only seat in park and neutal and thats it it is more than likely a cylinoid which can b fixed for a couple hundred dollars
