what years did the flywheels change on the 5.0l and the 5.8l and to what imbalance weights? being told different things from people, getting all confused, not willing to chance it. also whats the difference in the 10, 10.5, could i still use the same starter and housing? its easier to find 5.0 parts that are compatible with the 5.8 now days, which flywheel would best suit a 5.8 from the 5.0?

thats the thing, i dont have a flywheel to cross reference from anymore, i had a flywheel and clutch from a 85' 5.0ho on the 84' 5.8l that worked great, but put it back on the 5.0. i only recently found out (now that i need to buy one) that there are different flywheels from different years. just wanting to makes sure i get the correct one. i noticed when buying one the years are ranged from79-85, 86-95, wondering what the differences are, if any.
i think i FINALLY have it figured out the differences in the 5.0l flywheels. the 1963-80 have 157 tooth, 10" clutch, 28oz weight. the 1981-85 have 157 tooth, 10" clutch, 50oz weight. the 1986-95 have 157 tooth, 10.5" clutch, 50oz weight. now i just need to figure out the differences for 351w flywheels, all i know now is they have 164 tooth, not sure what years changed and to what. what i think i did find out is 5.0l have different bellhouses than 5.8l, the 164tooth doesnt fit in my t5 unless i use a 157tooth.
