Default Weird noise and smell

I installed my headers couple of weeks ago everything going fine, today I was leaving work and the gas pedal got stuck on the car rubber floor mat because it was all jacked up. The RPM was hitting max for maybe 3 sec until I realized what was wrong and got it untuck.

When I was about to park my car before I turned it off, I heard a weird noise and a smell, check under the hood it was coming from the passanger side.

The smell was like something burning close to rubber, and the noise was clicking noise.

Should I be worried?

Maybe. Depends on where the "clicking" noise was coming from. It could also just be a header leak. Did you re-tighten the bolts after you had run it a bit?

the clicking could of been the exhaust cooling down if the car was off, also the smell could of been burning off some type of finish on the inside of the new headers.

The clicking was when the car was running.

I did re-tighten the bolts after I drove it, what else could it be?

Did you run over a hooker?? If so the body may still be warm lol. The smell may be from the header coating, mine did that for a while after my install. Could be an exhaust leak somewhere or (hopefully not) valve chatter. Buy a stethoscope (normally around $20) from some automotive store. Probe around the engine and try to find the sound.
