I have a 94 4.6 with an oil leak at the oil filter adapter is this hard to fix?
Do I have to remove or drop the k-member?

I'm not familiar with it but Alldata shows it only pays .9 hours and doesn't show any steps to do it so it is probably not to hard to do.

I had to replace mine after it cracked. The gasket is only like $1, but the adapter itself is $220 and dealer only. You have to drain the coolant since it runs through the same adapter. Took me about 30min, most of the time draining fluids.

You have to have a monthly subscription to Alldata. It's pretty expensive so usually the only ones that have it are working shops. I access it through my work.

I wish that was my car in my profile pic. It belongs to a guy named Frank Pompilio. It's an Outlaw 10.5 tire car. 557 big block with twin 88mm turbos. Makes 2200 horsepower and has run a best of 6.90 @ 230 mph. Do a search in the Classic Mustangs section under Pompilio. There are some pretty good pictures of it.

My fastback is a long term project that is in a million pieces in a my shop right now.
