Thanks for your help guys, I'll check out that site and let you know how it went for me. Thanks for explaining the 2/3 way thing, I got it now. You kinda lost me on the "making sure my unit output matches the RMS", but I think I understand. The unit says 200 watts, so I imagine it is 50x4. So I should be looking for speakers with a 50watt RMS? I'll look around for awhile and reply if I find something. Sry about all of this, I have no idea when it comes to sound system specs, haha.

BTW, do you have any clue on the specs of the speakers that came factory? All I know is they are 6x8's for a 98.LOL, that brought up another question. Why are 6x8's the same as 6x9's? Wouldnt one be an inch longer than the other?

I went to crutchfield and checked out what would fit my car. You said 3 way would be an overkill, but I think these speakers are nice, so I might get them. 11 people gave them 5 out of 5...

I should re-phrase myself. If the 3-ways are a good deal, then thats cool. But your ears probably won't hear much of a difference coming off of just a 50x4 head unit at full range. Where 3-way gets noticeable (and expensive) is when you externally amplify your system. You then would need a 3 way x-over, and several channels of amplification.

I call hoax on those 4-way speakers. A speaker with 2 different sized tweeters [&:] Can you say BRIGHT/HARSH?!?! Four way splits the mid down to mid/low and mid/high - not tweet/high and tweet/ultra high
