Default flowmaster 44 series

Has anyone had any dealings with the Flowmaster SuperFlow 44 Series mufflers? I'm thinking about buying them. Just wanted to know if they sound and perform good. And just wanting to double check but aren't they just bolt up, no weld required?

i have a set of the super 44's on my 89 GT and i love the way they sound, dumped my 40 series and havent been happier. as long as you buy the same offset as stock they are just bolted in place.

I got them in my American Thunder catback and quite frankly cannot tell the difference between them and 40's
