Default C&L Racer MAF Housing Question

Hey all,

I bought a used C&L Racer intake a while back but never got around to installing it, I want to order some new tunes and throw it on the car but had a question about the MAF housing, when you buy the kit new do you get any rubber washers to go between the MAF sensor and MAF house or does it just screw straight in using the stock screws?

The reason I ask is my S&B filter kit has a metal plate with a rubber seal that goes between the sensor and housing so I just want to make sure that when I install the sensor in the C&L I don't ground it and burn out the sensor.

Thanks.

Never mind... turns out American Muscle offers installation instructions with photos:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/cl-rac...t-install.html

Then there's this one thats even better:

http://www.mylrs.com/blogs/lrs/archi...a-2007-gt.aspx

They don't mention or show anything to do with a rubber plate... so I guess I'm good....

Now my worry is that I don't have the MAF screws and apparently only the 05-06 screws fit otherwise you need the ones that come with it which I don't think I have..... any comments on that?

If you need screws take the housing with you to a hardware store an size the
screws there, I think they're metric.
When I installed mine instructions said to make sure and reuse factory rubber
gasket on base of MAF.

Thanks for the info... I don't remember there being a rubber gasket on my factory box... additionally I can't find my screws for the stock box so I'm wondering if I re-used them on my S&B CAI kit.... I will have to check that....
