Default 98 v6 vacuum hoses

hey everyone.

A vacuum hose connector melted under the hood and I can't seem to get all the hoses hooked up right. Right behind the plenum are 3 hoses, 1 sucking air into the brake booster, 1 that tapers down to about 1/8th" that goes into the firewall, and another that is connected to the egr tube about half way down.

I assumed the 3 were teed together, but the line coming off the egr tube melted the nylon tee when i connected them.

I've googled extensively and used my moms 01 for reference, but i can't seem to get the hoses right.

Can anyone shed some light on this sitch?
thanks
Nick
