85 T-Top
I got a buddy selling his 1985 GT T-Top mustang for $800. It has almost no rust on it at all, but has no engine or transmission in it. It is completely gutted. What I'm wanting to know is since there wasn't that many T-Top mustangs, is this a good price for a non rusted out one in Michigan?

Well, it's a great price if that is what YOU want. It would be a great base for a build up project although the T-top does make the car heavier than a standard coupe. Yeah it would be rarer than a coupe, but I doubt you'd be able to restore it for any sort of profit if that's your plan.

Sounds like typical sales talk. If you REALLY want it, go for it. If you are on the fence, let him sweat it for a while and see what happens. I don't like it when people are really firm on pricing. Puts him in the drivers seat and you are at his mercy.
