Default Check engine light- O2 sensors

I had a couple of O2 sensors fixed on my 97 GT. The check engine light then came back on 70 miles later. I had my buddy at a ford service department look at it again, he said it might be another O2 sensor or the PCM. He reset the light and told me to drive until the light came back on and then he would look into it again. I've put on about 100 miles and the light isn't on yet, knock on wood. Does this mean I'm in the clear? Thanks a lot.
