My ride is presently rated at about 425 hp at the crank and is NA. I am planning on adding a blower next summer and figure I will have to put a tranny in as well since I presently am still using the stock one which I am told won't handle much more power. Any recommendations on what I should go with. I am thinkng 6 spd but that is not really a must. Any thoughts / advice would be much appreciated.

So I will be looking at around 1700 for a new Tremec TKO600 5 spd. Does that sound about right? The 6 speed is a little more. What do you guys think I should go for? I am leaning toward the 6 speed even though it will probably be 700 more. Then KB here I come.

Six speeds are nice because you have the double overdrive but the tko tranny is nice also they both will handle that HP.The T56 might be a little more work to insatll then the TKO cause I'm not sure the crossmember will work

ive herd 6 speeds are alot more fun hahah i say u should take the 6 speed, it might increase yur top speed a lil bit
