Okay, so far I am getting good idea of what gears to go with. 1/2 of everyone swears by the 3:73s and the other half by the 4:10s...I think if I go with the 3:90s then I cannot go wrong.

Now I need to decide which tires to throw on the rears. Right now I have lots of spinning off the line and need to find a good street legal drag tire that does not look stupid (ie TOO wide). Any suggestions???

(I currently have the factory Pirelli P235/55ZR-17on the 17" Bright Machined Cast Aluminum rims)

Nittos are going to give you the longest run for your money. They dont wea near as fast as the BFG's but the BFG's will hook on a road covered with a sheet of ice!

DONT GET 3.90's! The only people that will tell you that 4.10's are too much gear is the idiots that has never owned them and they are just going by hear-say from other idiots that has never had them.

I had 4.10's in my GT and I drove back and forth from TX to GA and I still got 300-350 miles to a tank of gas and city driving I would get 200-250 if I stayed out of it. 4.10's are a perfect geat and going from a 3.55 to 3.90 you wont feel much difference at all. GET 4.10's!!!

My automatic does not have 3:55, it has 3:31 like the v6 version. Only the manual 05 GT has the 3:55.

Sorry dude but Nitto's are junk, the only good thing about them is that they last longer. The Mickey Thompson DR is THE stickiest dr out right now, after that the BFG's.
