Default parts car

With my 93LX notch (doing 2.3-5.0 swap) I got a parts car a PHucked up 89 GT (interor fire), that moter, tranny, rear diff will go in the LX. But i figgure I would make a drag car out of the 89.

Now not to start a flame war, and I dont want to hear any smart @$$ commits.

Where can I get a set of chevy small block mounts for a fox? I have a spare (lol) 396 LT1/T56 that was just too much for a street car, but should be good for high 9's low 10's in a 3000 lb. car. anybody have any ideas?

I think it's a great idea, might as well use what you have. Give me some time and I will find out what you need, a buddy of mine just got rid of a SBC Notch that he built.

Any luck? By the way thats a bad @$$ Fbody in your sig. I doubt it goes ove well with these die hard Ford guys. If (lol) I did drive it to some of the local street racing spots, can you imagine what people would think when they heard it, lol.

Why dont you just get yourself a QA1 tubular K-Frame and ask them to weld on the motor mounts for you before you get it, or if they cant do that then ask them to send you the K-Frame without the mounts on it, that was you can weld your own. From there just get a PST (Precision shaft technologies) carbon fiber driveshaft, they make to order. Mine is only going to be $709 bux, I wouldnt think yours would be too much more either.

Personally I think its a good idea too, it would be cool to be different like that but you will probably get into more trouble then you would like with the Ford guys, probably not so much the Chevy guys. See I have a Chevy too, infact it was my first car, a 70' Chevelle with a 66' Chevelle SS396 punched out 0.030 over w/ AFR Aluminum heads (Wants SpeedPro for my smallblock) and a few other goodies, I was about 550hp before it had to come apart. Its in storage right now

Another thing with that QA1 K-frame is that it can move the engine back an inch if you need it while your lining things up.

Welp Good luck with your build.
