I read the article as well, and didnt know about these devices until i did. i went on ebay to see if the lisitngs had any response to the article, and of course they didnt. however, i did browse the feedback and some people are claiming they work. is this the seller logging in assomeone else leaving feedback? im a little confused. could it be that these devices work on smaller engines?
the people probobly realize that if they leave bad feedback, the seller will leave them badfeedback and they do not want this to happen so they leave good feedback.

I installed a Steeda timing adjuster set at +3*.I adjusted it to more advance untill the CEL came on.then Backed off one degree. After testing the new part for about a month of driving the same road at the same speed and filling up at the same pump I came up with a gain of +2 MPG's.If you get one of these the timing marks are just for reference. It would be impossible to install the sensor exactly the same as it was inside the engine. It's not hard to adjust though.

Do you use 87 octane or higher now?
I still use 87.

the Tornado is complete BS, had it on my car for a few months and it did nothing, did not see an increase of fuel milage, and i keep track of that very closely. i took it out, and gladly threw it in the garbage. 70 bucks waisted, i was a sucker.

i got the best results buy going from 87 to 93 octane. some people say im full of bs and i will agree it won't work on all cars but my got got a fairly good increas 270 miles per tank on 87
to 300 on 93. i tried som 104+ aviation fuel with no real gain i got 305 on that tank not really worth the extra cash or the hassle of goin to the airport to fillup. btw i did a little math it is cheaper to run 93 when regular hits $2.00 per gallon. like i said i know it won't work on a lot of cars but it did mine.
