71 mustang with modern engine

I recently bought a 71 mustang and i want to put a modern(fuel injected) engine in it. Could any one tell me what kind of engine I should go with and what is needed to complete my project?

Define modern. And why fuel injected? And how much money are you willing to spend and what are your goals?

I just want to do something different from all the other guys and money wise i dont really have a limit i just dont want to get outragous with it.

and by modern i mean just a something maybe 1990s or 2000s
