Why not run oil analysis to see how your selection of oil is holding up? It will tell you a hell ofa lot more than some of the speculation around here does.[:-]

Wipe twice and flush once, or is it measure twice and cut once...??
I don't know much about Mustangs, yet, cuz I've had mine for a month now (95 GT). But I do know Fords. I used the walmart special fram and super tech oil every 4000 in my last car (93 Escort) and with 200K it still runs quiet. Only got rid of it bucause I as soon as I sat in and fired up that Mustang, I had to have it[8D] Seems like a 5.0 would be harder on oil and need something stronger so I'm going to use K&N with Mobil 1.
Ok cool thread, I just bought a used 04 V6 3.9 with just under 45k on it what filter and oil type would you reccomend as i always change the oil within the first month of buyin a car.
Thanks -- Brandon
