Windsors aren't rare, Clevelands are waymore rare than windsors. 351W was used on the GT-40 in the 70's. And anyways the Cleveland was only made for 4 years, I believe 70-74? But I'm not totally sure, I will have to double check those years. But the Windsor was made for 7+ (the carborated ones I believe) years I think, so they are way more common. The 351C did put out more hp because it was a small block that acted like a big block. But I prefer the 351W because more common and lots of parts, because it got its name from the Lemans races, from the GT-40.</P><edited><editID>Mustang88LXKid</editID><editDate>37957.8108564815</editDate></edited>

Rare in what sense? They're all over the place, in everythign from f350- to a LTD, Havnt' seen a Cleveland 4 barrel in a long time, plus the heads are huge, they flow a ton, but for the street i guess a windsor would be better.</P>

new here but had to reply due to having knowledge on 351 motors and i fell that if you could get your hands on one that a 351m (modified) would be your best starting point for the 351 category. and to add the 351m is a model of the cleveland family. it has slightly more potential because it is essentially a destroked 400. <edited><editID>bikejr68</editID><editDate>37957.9528935185</editDate></edited>

Modified, usually show as 351m/400, actually a big block i'm pretty sure most torque due to longer stroke.</P>
Also back in the 80's Clev-Ors were common mods, i think it was a windsor with Cleveland heads.</P>
