What synthetic is best for 2009 V-6 auto tranny?
I have 9000 miles on a 2009 auto V-6 and want to change to a synthetic. What do you recommend...and why? I've heard a lot about Mobil 1, but I don't know what Ford 'endorses'..if any.
Also, the car shifts through the first several gears rather quickly. Is this normal? I've never owned a Ford before so I'm not cognizant of how their tranny's should work. It's not shifting hard or anything, but just seems to get to third gear rather quickly, no matter what speed I'm going.
