What all years does an 8.8 axle fit in a 2000 3.8 mustang

You're best bet will be 99-04. The 94-98 was a bit narrower, but can be done.

Thanks. I'm a new mustang owner and have no hook ups yet.

The 8.8 from other Ford vehicles should be able to fit as well:

Ford Explorer
Ford F150
Crown Victoria
Grand Marquis
older Mustangs

They may not all be the exact same though (same axle length/etc) IIRC but I've seen other members on here in the past use rear ends from one of the vehicles listed above.
