I got it from a chiltons manual. It said that 190-250 ohms is ok. Mine is at 235. The codes are p1900 and p0720. The speedo works great, but I did swap it to see if that's the problem. Same codes. The gear is bad on odometer though, this will not have an effect will it? I am down to checking continuity from vss to PCM.
Where is OSS. The only one I see is the two wire sensor with the gear inside, located right beside the o2 sensor on drivers side of tranny. Is the OSS inside?
Did some research. 97 down use vss and 98 up is OSS, correct? If I have a vss installed in the tranny instead of an oss will the speedo be right? (the speedo is working correctly) the tranny has been rebuilt. This is a project car I bought for my daughter so I'm not sure which I have installed.
