Question New Pads, Calipers, and Turned Rotors. Still Squealing!

My brakes were jacked beyond belief. My calipers were sticking closed and my pads were bad and rotors warped in the front. I decided to do an overhaul. I got refurbished calipers, turned my rotors, and bought new brake pads. I used plenty of grease, shims, and used those little metal bracket springs, I cleaned the rotors and everything is working fine. But for some reason, those pesky brakes still squeak. It mainly happens with light braking, usually at a stop light or stop sign. Any light braking makes an ear-piercing squeal. What are my options?

I'm not entirely sure of neither the brand nor the material. I went to O'Reilly and they had ceramic and something else. I got the cheaper of the two. Lifetime guarantee.

Ceramics are good for braking power and heat dissipation, but yes, they usually do squeal more often than any other type of pad

Well from what you say it looks like you didn't get ceramics??? If that is the then you need an anti squeal paste that you put on the back of the pads. Hope this helps.

Go buy some name brand ceramic pads and use adhesive on the back side of the pads.
