Default 2-3 second delay from 1st to 2rd gear

New to the forum so bear with me. After shifting from first into second there's a delay in acceleration. Also, after accelerating in second and letting off the gas there's a weird grinding sound. Possible throttle bearing issue??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don't come in here being all sarcastic and expect people to help you. your post was up for 3 hours before you start (sarcastically) complaining. you should have a little patience, especially since you are new and don't know how things work around here.
but back to your question, im assuming you are have a manual trans?
