Default 1994 Mustang 3.8L Convertible OEM CD Player

I own a 1994 Mustang 3.8L Convertible, and got it back when it was new. It has always had the factory AM/FM Cassette, but no CD player. I know the factory CD player would go under the radio and be installed as a slave.

I wanted to install a factory CD player, I was able to find one, but have not bought it yet. I took the AM/FM cassestte out today to look for extra wires for the CD player, but I am not seeing them anywhere.

So my question is, if the 1994 3.8L convertible Mustang did not orginally come with a CD Player, is there no way to install the original OEM CD player after? Is my only option aftermarket if I want a CD player?

Just saw your post. Not sure if you still need this info, but here it goes. To the best of my knowledge there's 3 type of systems that came in the 94 Mustang. The base system with no CD player, The midrange system that came with the separate CD player and the Mach 460. The base system has just two wire plugs that plug directly into the Head Unit (radio) that runs the 4 speakers. The midrange has the Head Unit, CD player and an amp that is installed on the floor below the CD player. There is a harness that connects all this together. There is also 2 wire plugs, but one goes to the Head unit (this is the power plug) and the other plugs into the amp (this runs the 4 speakers). Lastly there's the Mach 460 system. There is also a front amp, but it's different as there an additional plug for the rear amps. I just upgraded a 2000 midrange to a Mach 460 and I have a 94 base that I've put an after market Head Unit so I've done a lot of research and have a few wiring diagrams. If I can be of any help just PM me and I'd be more than happy to do what I can. I might even have a few parts laying around that I can let go for next to nothing.
