I know nothing about modding so I can't really help you.. but I couldn't help but ask, if your gonna supercharge your 3.8, why didnt' you just get a 5.0 to start with? Just wondering.

How much boost do U want to run? How many miles on the engine now? Is it stock, hasn't been rebuilt?

If the answer is lots/lots/stock you may wind up with a trashed motor.

If your motor is in good shape, you have a couple of options. One of the most popular for the earlier (single port) V6 cars is using the Thunderbird Super Coupe M90 set up (just the top half or just swapping the whole motor over. You can usually find an entire motor for under a grand. Then you get the advantage of the forged bottom end, more coolant passanges in the heads and having all the parts already put together for you.

There are a couple other options as well. Check in the V6 section, you'll get a lot of info there.

Because the SC'd 3.8L will run circles around the 5.0L for far less money. TThe 5.0L swap (to be done in a street legal car) takes a lot of time, money and parts that most don't think about. To SC a V6 you need a weekend, hand tools and a tune afterwards.
