3.73 or 4.10 on automatic
I'm new to mustangs and I want to change my gears in a 2006 GT. With the other brand car that I owned it was excepted that if you have an automatic trans you went with 3.73 and with manuel it was 4.10 because 3.73's in an auto was like putting 4.10's in a manuel. So is this the same in a mustang? Hope this all makes sense.

alot of people do different things...i've heard if you do a blower like a KB, Whipple etc you should go 3.73 and if you do a blower like vortech 4.10s...if you didn't plan on blowers, my guess would be it wouldn't matter which route you go

Depends on what you want the car to do. 3.73's will put you in the seat and allow you to keep decent top end, 4.10's will throw you back a decent amount harder, but will shave some off your top end.
If it were my car, I'd do 3.73's.
