Default P0430 code question

Can a hole like 5 inches behind oxygen sensor set off the check engine light. I have code p0430. The car has just had all spark plugs and all oxygen senors replaced. I have eliminators in place of catalytic converters. Still the code keeps coming up. i noticed alot fo exhaust coming out near a rear oxygen sensor

How big of a hole would cause the code to kick out? I cant even see a hold but I feel exhaust coming out.

I doubt it. The o2 will read the exhaust ahead of the hole. Think about it the exhaust is being pushed out by the engine not sucked in backwards. If you do no have a cat or a bad cat on that bank you will get the p0430 code. p0420 is the same code but for the other bank.

So I purchased the MiL Eliminators and installed per installation instructions but the code p0430 came back up after 5 minutes of driving. I have already replaced all of the oxygen sensors and have checked for exhaust leaks. The only leak I found was downstream of the back oxygen sensors. Any Ideas why this would not have worked?

A bad mil elminator, bad o2, or a short on the signal wire.

First thing I thought was a bad eliminator also so I called and got a new set sent to me but had the same results Engine light back on same code within 5 minutes. If the eliminators are doing there job they are suppose to block any code coming from the Os sensors. Would this rule out a bad OS sensor? Also how do I k now which wire is the signal wire?

Try clearing the code and swapping the o2 and mil elimator to the other side and see if you get code p0430 or p0420. If its p0430 again check the signal wire back to the pcm for continuity to ground and voltage. Shouldnt have continuity to ground or voltage greater than ~.5v. Shouldnt have less than ~.4v either. Not sure which is the signal wire. Ill see if I can look it up.

Looks like a pink or red wire. Hard to follow the alldata schematic.

The exhaust leak that I talked about is practically right on top of the oxygen sensor but on the downstream side and this is also the P0430 side. Is it possible that this could be the issue or is that a stretch.
