Default noob

So Im finely getting ready to improve my mustangs performance but I know little to nothing about cars. Figure its about time i learned and where better to start then on a 2010 mustang gt auto (i know auto, I heard it all befor lol)
its pretty easy to search around for performance parts and upgrades but putting it all together looks like its going to be a little more difficult.

Any pro tips or ideas on how to get the most HP I can without over doing it?
Remember Im new to all this so I plan on starting out small but eventually I am going to get supercharger or turbo? Im not sure which one better.

Have you ever owned a high horspower car? Or any other modded car? Just asking so you don't go and get into someting that's hard to handle right away

Well I wouldn't start off right away with a turbo or supercharged platform unless you're used to that kind of power.. You can find lots of basic starting modification info in the GT S197 tech page.. Typical first mods are CAI, tune, exhaust, and gears... No reason you shouldn't see around 290-300 to the wheels with that, maybe a little less with an auto though..

Maye less, but the tuner will help with the auto shift points and firmness a lot, makin it a lot more fun to drive, exhaust would be the first thing I'd do, then intake, then tune then gears, your gonna need the tuner to run the gears anyhow ( I can't see the poll since I'm on the mobile site on an iPhone )

Wait on forced induction, tuner and exhaust are both easily done and make a good difference
