Default Odd Metallic noises?

Hey everyone. I've had my mustang for three years now with very few problems. I had to replace the tires (previous owner did too many burnouts) which also had me replacing the rear brake pads & getting the rotors machined about a year ago.

The last few weeks I've been hearing an odd noise that seems to come from my left front wheel. It's only when turning (usually left) and going over certain speed bumps/ramps into driveways. It sounds metallic, not scraping but almost the sound of a metal ball bouncing off a metal surface, although quietly, and at random intervals.

There's no vibration at high speeds, nothing other than a random squeak from the brakes (on the same wheel) when I hit the breaks at a specific pressure. This squeak comes and goes randomly it seems. (I can't re-create it at will).

Should I take it into a shop? Did the guy that replaced my rear brake pads (who told me my front ones had many years remaining) lie to me? Or is it something within the wheel that could be the issue?

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a possible wheel bearing, although you're not getting vibration at speed like you would if it was. Take your wheel off and see if you can move your brake rotor at all, if there's play it's probably a wheel bearing or tie rod end or something, don't know these newer Mustangs too much.

Could also possibly be a strut/shock, whichever you have up front. I had a BMW that needed struts and it sounded like a metal plate banging on a metal table.

Also make sure your lug nuts are properly tightened. Under turning loads, loose lugs really let their presence known.
