Default Underbelly coating

I will be leaving Florida in a few months to relocate north where there is this weird cold white stuff that falls from the sky covers the ground in the winter. LOL

All jokes aside, I am concerned about my stang rusting away from the snow and the salt they put on the roads. I hear there is a coating that some auto body shops can spray on your undercarriage to protect it from corrosion. Has anyone tried this or is familiar with this?

If I were concerned about it I would probably use por15 on it, its pretty cool stuff but really anything is just going to delay your car rusting. Buy a winter beater if you really don't want your car to rust...

Not everywhere salts the roads, up in the northwest rust is not an issue. Are you sure they salt the roads where your headed?

There will be so much salt, one can get high blood pressure just driving on those roads.

I just bought a gallon of chassis saver that looks to be pretty hardy stuff. You can either brush it on or spray it on.

Undercoatings are a bit of a false trust/hope type of thing. Any parts of it that peel off or leave the metal exposed just create rust pockets.

Buy a beater and garage the nice car during the winter.
