Hey, my first post here!

I had my tranny blow out on my 2000 automatic 3.8. looking for a decent replacement here in Sacramento wreckers and CL. what model of cars and years are compatible? Theres a guy on CL with a 2000 GT for sale will that work?
which years mustang will work? is it 99-2002?
what other fords should I be searching.
