2000 gt vs 07 shelby gt
Afternoon guys, this week I plan on racing my buddies dads 07 Shelby, its bone stock no mods at all. My 00 gt just have 373s and a airaid cai. I was wondering if I stand a good chance of beating him? Thanks for reading and your input

No you dont have a chance.

260hp 325hp
3.27 gears 3.55 gears
your 3.73 gears are much steeper and you wont gain 65 hp from the cai

Did Shelby sell non supercharged mustangs with their name on them? Either way, if it's supercharged or not, you will probably lose, might not be quite as bad as you'd think though, regular mustang gt's of that year had 300ish horsepower, with a cai you're kinda in the same ballpark.
