Dent
#2
Is the paint scratched? If not it can be pulled out. Quick story. I use to work for Hurst Performance Vehicles. I had the very first Hurst late model Dodge Challenger we ever built. We had turned down offers of $200,000 on it so it was worth a lot of money. I was at an event (Hot August Nights) in Reno in 2010. I was setting up our both. The car was unloaded from the trailer. I was getting ready to set up the rest of the display when I bumped an EZ-up that was not yet set up. It fell and hit the front fender very hard. It left a dent about 1/2" deep and 6 inches long. I couldn't believe it! I called the company owner and let him know what happened. He was not happy but knew I would take care of it. I called one of those paintless dent repair places. I told the guy the story and told him I did not care what it cost - just fix it. He spent the next two hours using a variety of tools to pull the dent out. He did an awesome job! I could not tell where the original dent was! And this was the shiniest BLACK car you've ever seen so it made it that much harder to fix. The guy charged me $100 and was on his way. Everyone back at HPV knew I dented the car but no one could ever find the spot.
