Question "RPM" stall then drop ?

so as im driving my 5.0 and coming to a stop and shift into neutral the "RPM" will stall a lil above 1k then drop back to normal.......the car runs fine no overheating no oilleaks..........is this normal??? tps??

I had the same issue with my 88 5.0 i cleaned every sensor that looked like it could be cleaned. Two on the throttle body dont know which is which but i think they r the throttle position and the idle air. Cleaned both of them and all is good so far. Clean with something like carb cleaner. Also make sure that the bigger sensor on the tb is on correctly (when u plug the elec conector in it should be pointing down and more towards the passenger side of the car). I bought mine and it was installed incorectly. I guess guys think flipping it helps idle issues. All it did for me was make it idle really high.
