Default Coil packs on the 4.6

Though I own two Mustangs, my daily driver is an 01 Towncar. My question is should I replace the (boots?) on the coil packs to prevent arching and as preventative maintenance to save the coil packs? I am not as familiar with coil packs as I am the regular distributor/cap/ rotor of the 5.0. Thanks for your help.

Eehhh they shouldn't arc if they're connected. From what I understand, when moisture accumulates in that chamber, that's when they arc out; be it from rain, car wash, humid day, dew, etc. Avoid washing under the hood and if you do, take measures to remove moisture. Hope this answers your question.
