Default Treating New Sheet Metal

I have to replace the RH inner apron and battery tray. I have the new sheet metal parts and need to know what to treat them with so they will resist the effects of corrosion from the battery.

They should have an E-coat primer on them. If you want to put another primer on top of that use epoxy primer. Etch primer will cause that e-coat to peel and create more troubles.

OK. Would epoxy paint be the best to use over the primer?
