Mustang 66 What is it for this?
Hello, I need help, not for serving the handle underneath the wheel next to the handbrake. I put a picture with the highlighted piece, thank you very much and greetings.
P.D. Sorry for my english, i´m from Spain.

That should be the control **** for the air vent that comes off your cowl. If you look under your dash you'll see what looks like a big circular air vent (about 5" in diameter). Pull on the **** and you'll see a little flapper moving inside the vent. Unless someone has repurposed it that is.

One way to tell for sure, pull it out with the car running. It will either die, the idle will speed up, or it will cough and sputter. If it does none of the above its either not the choke or its not hooked up.

If I understand your question correctly, It's just a fresh air vent. It pulls outside air in from your cowl. There are two holes in your cowl. The passenger side hole feeds the heater, and the driver's side hole feeds the vent in question. Open it up the next time you're cruising down the road on a warm spring day. It's amazing how well it works.
