Default RTFM emoticon...

I was just looking at the emoticons and just happened to see the, "RTFM" one. It always annoys me when I see someone post, "RTFM". My philosophy is, if we all read our manuals, we would no longer have a need for forums because we'd already have all the answers (so-to-speak).

I'd love to see that one removed from the repertoire of emoticons on this forum.... I'm just saying... LOL

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Besides, we're all here to get information and, "RTFM" is straight out rude. It also says that the person replying is to lazy to politely reply to the poster's question.

No offense but it's not saying that the person posting that emoticon is lazy, it's saying the person posing the question that is clearly stated in the manual is lazy. Quite the opposite of your claim. I understand your premise but you'd be amazed at some of the questions people post on here (or most forums for that matter). Maybe instead of "RTFM!" it should say "Use the Search Function".
