Brake pads from NAPA aren't any better than any other auto parts store, AutoZone, Orielly, Pep Boys, Napa, etc... it's all the same quality. You get what you pay for, unless you go to the dealer where you pay premium price for basic quality.

agree in the end its all about what u like and how u drive that determines if they last long enough i use to work at auto zone to and well i dont buy my brakes there for my ride but to each is there own

Nay on most of these. There are two "brands" that Ford offers. Motorcraft (red box) which is considered aftermarket or OE replacement or FoMoCo brand (blue box) like what they put on the assembly line. Both are Semi-metallic, neither work as well as they should for what you pay.

I tried several sets on our 06 escape and my 08 mustang. Hated them all. Went with Akebono Ceramics (you can find them at r o ck a u to ) Work awesome, great bite, little to no dust, and quiet as hell.

Hawk brand is also good as is EBC.
