Snow day Collision... help please..
So I had to drive in the freaking snowy weather of Texas.. and out of no where my car skids and rams a concrete wall on the highway...
My bumper is about to fall off and is cracked.. and my air bag deployed...
Does anyone know if the Ford ESP covers any of this?
And if not... how much would the repair costs be because I know that airbag isnt cheap..
Thanks..

You have a 2010 so I'm sure you have insurance, right? If not, you are in for a fairly large bill. It would be at the least, air bag (s), module, probable sensor (s), front fascia, reinforcement, who knows what else. You could easily have 3-4 grand in damage. Like JimC said, why would Ford cover this on ESP? You did it, not Ford. Just wondering myself. Why wouldn't you just run it thru your insurance and let them foot the bill. That is why we have it. Your premium may go up next year, but, that's next year, right? lol.

Ford ESP bumper to bumper covers mechanical breakdowns on the systems listed in the paperwork. Nowhere does it include any type damage caused by an accident. Now, if you could prove that a mechanical failure caused the car to wreck, you might have a chance at something from Ford.....but also a long fight.
It sounds like you just screwed up while driving on slick roads.

It covers the engine and transmission, rear end, etc, from part failure. This is not part failure. It is driver. It happens all the time. Sorry, you can't blame a company for something that you did. Black ice is nasty and costs insurance companies a ton of money each year.
