I have a 2001 V6 convertible. This thing randomly jumps and bucks and stalls It will buck going the the road but it only does it once or twice and it might go a long time before it does it again. There is absolutely no pattern. The check engine light is not on a scan shows no codes. I have replaced fuel filter coil pack plugs and wires. I have cleaned the IAC motor and throttle body. I have been workin on cars a long time but this one has me puzzeled. Anybody had this problem before??

Try cleaning the MAF with MAF specific cleaner. Also, try to replace your IAC, cleaning only works about half the time. If it doesn't fix it, return it.

Thanks I found the problem last week. It was the part that replaced the distributor it drives the oil pump. I pulled the cam sensor off and the cavity under the sensor was full of metal.. The bushings had worn out causing it to try to lock up once in a while replaced it and it runs as good as it ever did. No problems at all now..
