Hey JohnnyCho; I am quite new to the forums here and I too was looking to put a cold air intake on my 02' GT. But after doing some reading here, a lot of the senior members seem to feel that the CAI isn't necessary. They instead recommend to simply remove the air restrictor from the stock air filter box and throw a K&N filter in - this is the route I am planning on doing today. Supposedly the HP gain is roughly the same and is a lot less work. Just search the forums for cold air intake and you will find lots of info!
I am in dire need to add a CAI on to my v6 2010 mustang
I found a really cheap SR air intake but it says its for v6 04-09..
Will that fit my 2010 v6?
That makes no sense. The 2004 was a completely different engine and car from the 2005-10. No way an intake will fit the 2004 and later years.
The 2010 V6 has the same 4.0L engine as the 2005-09 so it should fit. The mounting at the front may be a little different, but I've never looked at one to know.
