Default Evaporative,,,,,,,,,,,

I have a 2003 pony. Just had to have the fuel pump replaced. A week later, for the first time ever, this car has 112,000 miles on it, my 'service' engine light came on, and then a week after that the 'fuel cap loose' light also came on. My friend has a code reader, and the codes that popped up were P0455, and P0457.
So, 0455 lists as "Evaporative Emission Control System leak (gross leak), and 0457 says gas cap loose. Haha, no kidding, right? So i bought a new gas cap for the 0457 code. We will see if it keeps it off.
My big question, is, for the 0455 code, what do I need to do to fix it, and also, is this all related to the new more powerful fuel pump my mechanic installed?
Look forward to any advice I can get.

The new cap could clear both codes eince the cap is part of the emmissions system.
