Default 2001 GT tire size options

evening gang, i purchased some bullitt deep dish rear wheels for my steed. they had some 295/35/18s on them. i have 17 in front bullitt wheels with stock 245/45/17s of coarse my car is lowered 2 inches. i have traction control issues due to diff tire diameter as well as i need to fill the rear fender well the same as the front. so rear tire size needs to change. will a 295/40/18 cure that. trying to get a tire store to tell me what to do is tuff . they just want to sell a new set all the way around . i like the 17 front 18 rear just want same diameter any suggestions?

Hey man, I dont believe a 295 will cure that fender gap to well, it may very well exceed it and poke out. I would Recommend 255's for the rear, and with the correct fitment they should fill up you fender gap nicely and give your car more terminator like presence. And as for the traction control, unless you want to stick with the OEM tire specs you would need a tune to correct it. Adir H.
