Cool AC help!! 07 Mustang V6 4.0

Ok, here goes...I have a 2007 For Mustang V6 4.0

The AC seeps out cold air but there is no force, same with heat. So far I have replaced the cabin air filter, checked fuses, replaced the blower motor resistor and tested the blower motor (which works).

I should also mention there is a clicking sound win I start the car (even if ac is off) and when switching modes. I have determined that to be the blend door actuator. I've located where the clicking is. However I am assuming the clicking and non-blowing are not related problems.

My next task was to replace the blower motor switch but have been unable to locate it.

Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated!!!!

Check and see if the air flow is directed out of the defroster vents at the windshield. The clicking of the blend door indicates a bad actuator. When that fails, the ducting fails to the defrost position as set by Ford. I would solve the blend door issue and see if that fixes your air flow issue.

It should not be clicking at all. The click is the stripped plastic teeth rubbing against each other in the actuator. Yes they would be related because if the doors aren't moving, the air won't go anywhere.

Does it sound like it's trying to blow harder/speed up the fan when you turn the fan speed switch up or does the sound stay the same?

The sound doesn't change at all. If I hadn't tested the blower motor I would swear that is the problem.

I wired it to my battery to assure it spins, the only way I knew to test it since auto part stores don't test blower motors. I haven't replaced it yet bc it's a $100 part lol. Looks like I'll replace it anyways!

Ok, so you visually inspected the plastic blower wheel? If you did and it wasn't cracked or free spinning on the shaft, I'm at a loss.

The motor should change speed as the dash switch tells it.

Have you replaced the dash switch?
