500 HP 2014 Mustang V6 3.7L
So I have a 2014 Mustang V6 and i wanted to know is it even possible to get that car to 500 HP? (TO THE WHEELS) Or should I sell it and find a different year? Or does anyone know if you can get 500HP (to the wheels) out of a 2004 GT???

Ill get this in before anyone else but if you want 500WHP. get a 5.0! You might be able to boost your 3.7 up to that number but it's reliability will be questionable at best. I'd expect it to granade itself sooner than later. With the 2004 you can probably get 400 dependably.

I'm not really into modding, my mustang is bone stock. But if you want that kind of power and a reliable car you need a v8. The mustang I had before my current one was a v6 and I wasn't happy with the power it had. I paid the extra for the GT which I think at the time was $5000 more than the v6, but worth every penny. I wish I could afford NJ's high insurance rates and by a second car and keep the mustang for a weekend car.

Bluebeast pretty much hit it on the head with the reliability. To get that particular 6 cylinder motor to 500 rwhp, u would have to do major head work, upgrade all internals to handle the stress, and have some high boost numbers. by the time u re-vamped ur engine so extensively, u might as well have put that money into a V8 and still had money left over for mods, and added reliability.
